Aviation Capital Group provides spares for the airline industry -- spare aircraft, that is. ACG, which was founded in 1989, acquires commercial jet aircraft and leases them to airlines worldwide. Its fleet of over 200 aircraft, which it owns and manages, includes the Airbus A320 family, Boeing 737s, Boeing 757s, MD-80s, and other wide-body and freighter aircraft. ACG leases to almost 100 airlines in 42 countries. The company has additional offices in London; Santiago, Chile; Seattle; Shanghai; Singapore; and Stamford, Connecticut. It is a subsidiary of Pacific Mutual Holding (Pacific LifeCorp), the parent company of insurance provider Pacific Life Insurance Company, which owns 91% of the company.
